Gmail Labs is an all new experimental area of Gmail that will roll out new features for users to try, something that will be very welcome and familiar to the “Better Gmail” Firefox extension.

Once you enable Gmail Labs for your account you’ll get a Labs tab in the settings of your account where you can enable the 13 new experimental gmail features, which includes signature tweaks, mouse gestures, keyboard shortcuts, and even a game of Snake!

The Classic Game of Snake ScreenshotCalled “Old Snakey”, enable keyboard shortcuts and hit the “&” key from the main page to play the beloved classic and regular cell phone fixture.

And for another cool little gaming and Google-related Easter Egg, try inputting the Konami Code into Google Reader . . . What? Don’t know the code? Didn’t grow up playing Contra, eh? Then simply hit Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A.
