Behind The Scenes at Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Release date is October 21st
The studio head at Shaba Games, Chris Scholz, and other character and creative programmers at the developer take you on a Behind The Scenes tour of the upcoming Spider-Man: Web of Shadows action-adventure game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, PC, PSP and DS. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows will be released on October 21st, 2008.
The story of the game is that Venom has returned to New York to infect the city with an army of symbiotes. S.H.I.E.L.D. has quarantined Manhattan to prevent the invasion from spreading. As a result, the entire city is cut off from the outside world. Spider-Man has to work with both heroes and villains from the Marvel Comics universe to track down Venom and stop the invasion before he himself is consumed by the symbiote attached to him.
You can now switch between the red and black Spider-Man suits on-the-fly and the new redesigned combat system — that can do both ground and air moves — looks very fluid! Take a first peek at the game in action:
