Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath for Xbox 360Kane is invading the Xbox 360, and he’s bringing the ultimate console RTS experience with him! The follow up to last year’s Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (isn’t required to play Kane’s Wrath), Kane’s Wrath has gone gold for the Xbox 360, and will be shipping on June 23, 2008 at a price of $39.99. Gamers who pre-order Kane’s Wrath from Gamestop.com will receive an exclusive talking Kane Bobblehead doll (available while supplies last).

Featuring the all-new CommandStick interface, a revolutionary control scheme built from the ground up and optimized for the Xbox 360, Kane’s Wrath is packed full of content, including a full 13 mission story-driven campaign, the Xbox 360-exclusive Kane’s Challenge* mode, six new diverse sub-factions, game changing epic units and over 50 multiplayer maps for online play over Xbox LIVE with up to four players. It also comes with 1000 achievement points spread across the game’s four main game modes (Campaign, Kane’s Challenge, Skirmish and Multiplayer) and support for the console’s Vision Cam over Xbox LIVE. Although it’s missing the PC version’s Global Conquest mode, which didn’t control well on a console.

Watch Kane’s Wrath explosive action gameplay:

* Kane’s Challenge is a “gauntlet of skirmish matches” with the player taking control of one of nine armies (the three original factions are present as well as six new sub-factions). Competing in a series of single matches, the player must climb a ladder, unlocking achievements and more along the way. “It’s a great way to learn about RTS games” said the game’s producer Jim Vessella, who confirmed there will be 20 new videos of Kane to be unlocked as you progress through Kane’s Challenge, with the baldy one either offering support or pouring scorn on your efforts. — Via PR & Strategyinformer
