Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars was released in Japan and America back in 1996, but never anywhere else. A few days ago the Australian games rating board, the OFLC, rated the SNES game! This indicates that it should be making its way to PAL regions (European and Australian) Wiis sometime within the next few months. Strangely enough the 2007 U.S. ESRB rating for the game vanished and has yet to show up again.
With Super Mario RPG coming to Australia & Europe and EarthBound to America & Canada, let’s hope both games get worldwide releases. Especially since they are the most wanted Wii Virtual Console games.

Wow, this is awesome news. Hopefully you are right. There are still a number of other games that I feel need to go global:
Kirby’s Dream Land 3
Lufia & Fortress of Doom
Terranigma
