Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope launch trailer
Star Ocean: The Last Hope is the fourth entry in the futuristic space opera RPG series. This title is primed to push next-gen technology to its limits, while developer tri-Ace will try to deliver an experience worthy of the Star Ocean name; But with a more science-fiction feel to it by letting you control your own ship. Also new is that the battle system will feature 4 party members, and will be more team-oriented.
The game may be new, but the story takes place a few centuries before the original Star Ocean (around S.D. 10, or approximately 2097 AD). Laying the groundwork for the latest Star Ocean exclusively for Xbox 360 by Square Enix. A PS3 release is undecided according to Square Enix producer Yoshinori Yamagishi.
