How to unlock all DragonBall Z: Burst Limit secret characters (guide)

Take the following steps to unlock each of the secret characters in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit as well as their transformations. No cheats will enable them in either the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions, so you’ll have to get better and play through the game.

The list is organized alphabetically for ease-of-use.

* Android #17 is unlocked by finishing chapter 3 on the Cell Saga;
* Android #18 is unlocked by finishing chapter 2 on the Cell Saga;
* Bardock is unlocked by finishing chapter 1 on Bardock’s storyline;
* Broly is unlocked by finishing chapter 1 on Broly’s storyline;
* Captain Ginyu is unlocked by finishing chapter 4 on the Frieza Saga;
* Cell’s Imperfect Cell transformation chapter 4 on the Cell Saga;
* Cell’s Semi-Perfect Cell transformation chapter 6 on the Cell Saga;
* Cell’s Perfect Cell transformation is unlocked by finishing chapter 12 on the Cell Saga;
* Cell’s Super Perfect Cell transformation is unlocked by finishing chapter 19 on the Cell Saga;
* Frieza’s First Form Frieza is unlocked by finishing chapter 8 on the Frieza Saga;
* Frieza’s Second Form Frieza is unlocked by finishing chapter 9 on the Frieza Saga;
* Frieza’s Third Form Frieza is unlocked by finishing chapter 12 on the Frieza Saga;
* Frieza’s Final Form Frieza is unlocked by finishing chapter 14 on the Frieza Saga;
* Frieza’s 100% Final Form Frieza is unlocked by finishing chapter 16 on the Frieza Saga;
* Gohan’s Teen Gohan character is unlocked by finishing chapter 1 on the Cell Saga;
* Gohan’s Super Saiyan 2 Teen Gohan transformation is unlocked by finishing chapter 19 on the Cell Saga;
* Goku’s Kaioken Goku transformation is unlocked by finishing chapter 7 on the Saiyan Saga;
* Goku’s Super Saiyan Goku transformation is unlocked by finishing chapter 16 on the Frieza Saga;
* Nappa is unlocked by finishing chapter 5 on the Saiyan Saga;
* Piccolo Fuse with Kami is unlocked by finishing chapter 4 on the Cell Saga;
* Piccolo Sync with Nail is unlocked by finishing chapter 11 on the Frieza Saga;
* Raditz is unlocked by finishing chapter 1 on the Saiyan Saga;
* Recoome is unlocked by finishing chapter 1 on the Frieza Saga;
* Saibamen is unlocked by finishing chapter 3 on the Saiyan Saga;
* Trunks and his Super Saiyan Trunks transformation are unlocked by finishing chapter 7 on the Cell Saga;
* Trunks’ Super Trunks transformation is unlocked by finishing chapter 13 on Cell Saga;
* Vegeta is unlocked by finishing chapter 8 on the Saiyan Saga;
* Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Vegeta transformation is unlocked by finishing chapter 2 on the Cell Saga;
* Vegeta’s Super Vegeta transformation is unlocked by finishing chapter 10 on the Cell Saga;

But there’s much more to be unlocked in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit. The following lists show the rest of the unlockables:

Difficulty levels to be unlocked are:
* Hard and Very Hard difficulty levels are unlocked by finishing the Z Chronicles on Normal difficulty;
* Z difficulty level is unlocked by finishing the Z Chronicles on Very Hard difficulty.

Movies that can be unlocked are:
* Movie 1 by finishing the Frieza Saga;
* Movie 2 by finishing the Cell Saga;
* The Credits by finishing Broly’s storyline.

i think the reason why there isnt many characters is because they want to continue making dbz games so i think there will be a burst limit 2 and possibly 3 if they dont put all the characters in the 2nd one. so the next game will be alot better and more players its like what they have done with all the other dbz games dbzbudokai 1,2 & 3 and tenkaichi 1,2 & 3 i might still buy it anyway cause i have the rest so whats the harm in getting another one

I am thoroughly disappointed in this game. I paid 62 bucks for it and its not worth it. Its worth maybe half that. Its seems like they rushed this game out. Its so damn repetative its lame. For the most part its a step down from Tenkaichi 3. They should go back to the anime looking format then this 3D crap. but thats the least of my complaints.

look wait 4 burst limit 3 so they will have all the fan guys such as ssj4 goku,vegeta and gogeta and like in t2 hopefully ssj5 alt costumes they will also add in buu bojack maby bio broly jenemba goten roshi u know what i mean on t2 gogeta ssj4z alt costum is ssj5 goku and baby vageta 2 alt is basicly xicor ssj so in the mean time get t2 or 3

this game wasnt what i thought i was going to be. there should have been a buu saga at least so the ssj2 and ssj3 were in the game but thats why they need to hurry up with Burst Limit 2

I’m actually very happy at this. Despite a bunch of people complaining about not having thousands of super saiyan forms. If you knew half about the DBZ storyline, you would of known it was supposed to stop after the Frieza saga, but, due to public outcry on it, they continued to make it. Thus, they needed a new reason for them to be stronger and continued to make Super Saiyain forms, Gohan is the only one who should of been able to do that. I’d rather buy this than whatever other DBZ game has Super Saiyain 8 bajillion, or whatever number DBAF is on now.

I love how you guys talk about DBAF as if it’s real. Aside from the fact that some other company high-jacked DB’s characters and “continued” the story in manga. But back to the game, it’s great the action is super fast paced, pretty DBZ feeling. My biggest problem is certain things don’t feel as epic as previous games. I haven’t gotten thrown through a building or hill yet… And loss of flight control was a pretty big disappointment.
