Call of Duty 4 sells 10 million!

Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year Edition for Xbox 360Activision head Vince Zampella has revealed that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has sold over 10 million units worldwide on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and DS versions. The popular first-person shooter is one of less than ten games to sell 10 million since the year 2000, reports News.com.

The most successful version is the Xbox 360 one, which is made clear in two ways:
A) Developer Infinity Ward has said that in 2008 on a daily basis between 1.2 and 1.3 million users are playing Call of Duty 4 via Xbox Live.
B) Call of Duty 4’s Variety Map Pack for consoles has sold 1.5 million times. Oddly enough these same maps are released free today for PC users!
