Dragon Ball DS action-adventure game announced by Namco Bandai
Dragon Ball DS has been shown off by Namco Bandai in the latest issue of the Japanese gaming magazine V-Jump. The upcoming action-adventure single player game will be released exclusively for the the Nintendo DS handheld (in Japan sometime in 2008) and is based in the universe of the the original Dragon Ball anime where Goku first meets Bulma, Master Roshi and the rest of the gang.
Looking at the scans (click the pictures to pop up bigger sizes), the game seems to have graphics similar to the Final Fantasy III & IV 3D games on DS; and a stylus control scheme similar to that used in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass to move Goku around on the DS touch screen and tapping the touch screen to fend off enemies with attacks or objects found around the world. — Via Jeuxfrance
