First Red Alert 3 video. Release date: October 2008
Electronic Arts has released the first Red Alert 3 gameplay video. The trailer for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 real-time strategy game shows that the release date falls in October, 2008. The series returns after being absent since the Red Alert 2 expansion pack Yuri’s Revenge in 2001. The sequel takes place in a parallel universe in which the Soviet Union still exists and World War III is ongoing between the Soviets, Allies and a new third faction known as the Empire of the Rising Sun, which is derived from Imperial Japan.

The water-based abilities seem to add a lot of strategy to the gameplay. I also love the Red Alert series staple “Hell March” theme music being used again.
