First Pokemon Platinum DS screenshots (Giratina origin form revealed)

The first Pokemon Platinum screenshots of the upcoming Nintendo DS RPG have been revealed. The third game in the Diamond and Pearl series will be released in Japan in fall 2008, with worldwide releases following in 2009. According to Impress, various new elements will be added to the story over Pokemon Diamond and Pearl such as a “power raise” and appearances. That’s likely referring to the Pokemon Platinum new forms and such that were confirmed earlier.

As you can see from the evil shadow appearance of the Giratina origin form (above) in Pokemon Platinum, it replaces Dialga and Palkia as the main Pokemon that’ll be hunted by Team Galactic.

Type: Ghost, Dragon
Height: 6.9m (22 feet)
Weight: 650kg (1,433 pound)
Appearance: Long, gray, segmented body, but with short spikes as legs.

yeh ive played platinum and u can get palkia and dialga. go back to spear pillar after u beat the elite 4.

It’s a cool game but it’s not out. In diamond and pearl you catch giratina but it doesn’t really matter cause it’s not the star of the game. that sucks.I want it badly.

omg i cant wait till this game comes out and u can get any pokemon from johto,hoen,kanto,and sinno but u cant get any legendarys besides the ones u get in pearl and diamond.the rest of legendarys u will have to migrate

u can also find starters in the wild like cyndaquil is in hearthome (in platinum heart home has grass)

Tarek, I asked supadupagama that same question, no-one knows when but we know it will come to Australia soon. Well, I actually know when it will come, September this year, I’m also waiting for September to come, we Aussies will have to wait.
