Pokemon Platinum revealed for DS, includes new forms for Giratina, Regigigas and Shaymin

Pokemon Platinum DS scan Pokemon Platinum has been revealed for the Nintendo DS in the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine CoroCoro. Red and Blue were followed by Yellow, Gold and Silver by Crystal, Ruby and Sapphire by Emerald, and now Diamond and Pearl will be followed up by Platinum with most likely Giratina on the DS box.

But Pokemon Platinum is more than a name change, the new features include:
* New forms of existing Pokemon, like Giratina’s Origin Form, Regigigas’ Sky Form, and Shaymin’s Another Form. Giratina and Regigigas’ new forms will be able to get the Levitate ability and Shaymin’s Another Form may be at least part Ice Type.
* The Underground section will now be Wi-Fi online enabled.
* There will be a new Battle Island, similar to the Battle Frontier in previous games.
* It looks like there will be a new battle interface.
* Volkner may no longer be the gym leader of Sunyshore City.
* A new blue costume for the main character.

Pokemon Platinum will be released in September 2008 in Japan and in 2009 elsewhere. — Via Neurope & Serebii

i have heard of pokemon platinum the new form of shaymin can be seen in a movie called giratina and the sky warrior i think check it on you tube TRUST ME
