The Dreamcast RPG Skies of Arcadia (2000), which received a directors cut on the GameCube (2003), might get a sequel according to an source from within Sega. Skies of Arcadia 2, after being rumored since 2003, now seems to be a “definite”.

Sega On was the same blog that first reported on Sonic Unleashed when it was still a rumor, and they are now saying the game will be unveiled at this Autumn’s Tokyo Games Show and is coming to Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3.

The Wii and Playstation 3 seem like odd choices. The original is too expensive, I saw the Gamecube version for $AUD109 new.

Thats not surprising seeing how its pretty hard to come by unless you use ebay which prices range around 40 – 50 USD used.
