I’d say the worst innovation would be how they restricted Battle Mode to a set time limit. This punishes those of us who have the skills to last an entire match against a large field of opponents.

To me, while playing the american version just yesterday, the computer seemed overly cheap with their use of the blue shell/ other 1st place specific power ups.

Is Grand Pri now only limited to 1 player?? If so this is another annoying feature of the game. Otherwise Nintendo has a sure-fire hit with this much needed improvement over Double Dash for the Wii

This game is truely awesome Just unlocked my Mii, it was so annoying… you have to get 1st Place on the special cup, took me 3 tries At least i got my guy.

IN*ecK: I’m one of those guys who never reads the manual. I feels so stupid I never tried pressing the Directional +-pad haha. I’m correcting that in the review now, thanks for the heads up.

“Please note that the Classic and GameCube controllers are supported, but as a nod to the series’ retro game play you won’t be able to do the newly added track stunts / tricks while using them.” I have the game .eu version and I find this to be false.. as far as i know everything possible with the wheel/nun+mote is possible also with classic and gamecube controller.
