Final Grand Theft Auto 4 trailer exclaims “Everyone’s A Rat”. Single player takes over 56 hours to finish

Rockstar has given Grand Theft Auto 4 a simultaneous worldwide release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles on April 29th, 2008. The latest trailer showing CGI and in-game footage was revealed today.

Want to know how many hours of gameplay are in the action-adventure game? Jeronimo Barrera, a senior developer at Rockstar, says it takes testers playing 4 hours a day “a good 2 weeks to get through the whole single-player game.” So if they are playing a full week that’s about 56 hours total!

Unless those testers work 7 days a week, I’d be more willing to bet on 40 hours… But it makes for a more sensational title to say 56 hours… We’re saturday… you’re at work?!

it will take lot longer for 100% and keep you busy for years to come plus im going to kill you all in multiplayer. ps3 kicks xbox ass

I expect that 40/56 hours will be just the story missions…and who only plays the story missions?
Either way, it’s going to be epic.

56 hours???!!!! That sucks donkey balls! I thought it would be at least 100 hours. Look, i know that 56 hours is dang long, but…. 56 hours?!!!! Am the only one that’s disappointed?
I bet if they went PS 3 exclusive they woulda had more space to make a bigger game. Freaking microsoft anal probing donkey lovers

Yeah thats 56 hours it takes one of the rockstar employees, who, dont forget, knows exactly where every mission is gonna be and how to get there.The fact that no one else does means to can double that time.And shut the F up about ps3’s yo

gta 4 was pretty good, but the ending sucked *SS. It was too short, and Roman died… I tried to prevent it several times. GTA 5.. should have more places you can go into, more things you can steal, and like a tatoo shop or something like san adreas. Man, it should have a Longer ending.. Also like “San Andreas”.
