New video game releases week 12, 2008

Here’s a list of this weeks U.S. game releases. The most popular games are Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection on PS2, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword on DS, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on Xbox 360 & PS3, Worms: A Space Oddity on Wii, and Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds on PS3. On the downloadable games front we’ve got today’s Super R-Type and Spelunker on the Wii Virtual Console. While Conflict: Denied Ops will appear on GameTap this Thursday. No word yet on any Live Arcade games (updates Wednesday) or PlayStation Store games (updates Thursday).
