Recently Sega Japan has told Dreamcast owners not to fill out their email addresses and console serial numbers that Dreamcast.com was requesting to give fans a Dreamcast email address. Why? Because the website is a complete FAKE! Apparently Sega don’t even own the domain and thus the Dreamcast logos on-site were being used illegally.
While the idea sounded completely believable to most fans due to the Dreamcast celebrating it’s 10th anniversary in Japan on November 27th, 2008. SEGA Japan has said it will be taking “appropriate measures”. We’re guessing “appropriate” in this context means they will launch the Dreamcast 2 on 09/09/09.
