How to unlock all 16 Super Smash Bros Brawl Secret Characters (Guide)

How to unlock all secret Super Smash Bros Brawl characters? That question will be answered in this guide that shows you who to unlock and how.

The Super Smash Bros. Brawl starter characters select screen shows only 21 out of the 37 playable characters in the Wii fighting game. Below we’ve listed the 16 secret characters in order, from easy to hard to unlock.

To unlock SHEIK:

Sheik unlocked

* Use Zelda’s down special move in-game to transform into Sheik.
* At the character selection screen, select the Zelda/Sheik area. Hover the pointer over your section, then press the following button to toggle between Zelda and Sheik:
– With a Wii-mote, press 2.
– With a Wii-mote and Nunchuk, press A.
– With a Classic controller, press A.
– With a GameCube controller, press A.

To unlock ZERO SUIT SAMUS:

Zero Suit Samus unlocked

* You’ll have to choose Samus, at the character-selection screen, hold down a shield button then proceed to the next screen. Quickly input taunts Up, Down, Up. If you’ve set your taunts to the +Control Pad on your controller, you’ll eventually input the command correctly if you rapidly hammer up and down on the +Control Pad. That should shed Samus’ armor so she becomes Zero Suit Samus.
* Play as regular Samus, grab the Smash Ball and perform the final smash to shed your armor and become Zero Suit Samus.
* At the character selection screen, select Samus, then hold the following buttons at the “Ready to Fight!” message:
– With a Wii-mote, hold Minus and press Plus.
– With a Wii-mote and Nunchuk, hold Nunchuk Z and press Plus.
– With a Classic controller, hold R and press Plus.
– With a GameCube controller, hold R and press Start.

What I don’t get is how for people to actually post a comment for this, wouldn’t they have to be looking up how to find the characters anyways? I didn’t so much look this up for how to unlock the character but rather to find out just who the last character was. And I still don’t see how being a noob is such a bad thing. My nephew got to be ranked number 1 in Australia for Mario Kart and he’s only 7. So we’re all pretty much noobs compared to some people.

To unlock ridley in ssbb kill tabuu 3 times with samus first in your line and defeat him with only samus 3 times in a row. if samus dies restart.HINT: to dodge tabuus attacks press and hold Z on nunchuck. I hope this helps.

yo, thanks, i had everyone exept sonic, jigglipuff and wolf, i went crazy about it! thanks! Oh, and by the way, in the great maze, why does it keep repeting the stages after you go trough the jungle, i dont know what to do!_

i got Wolf but you have to beat SSE or you can’t get him at all. In the Ruins go to wear you go down a thing that will kill you if your not careful go and drop down. After the thing is gone beat the stage and go back to it as FOX and go to the same place and you’ll see a door at the end of the thing. Go in it and get Wolf. PS. you have to beat the game in SSE or you can’t do it. And he is really hard to beat so you have to be good with FOX.!

aww man… i already unlocked all of them i was hoping for more. o well. *sigh* lol for toon link the only character they block is Ike lol. poor Ike.

It’s waaay to hard to get ganondwarf xD i’ve been playing the subspace emissary for EVER and STILL can’t get to that part (right now i’m a little past the part where i got R.O.B) Can someone please tell me some cheats or somethin’?
