New video game releases week 11, 2008

Before I list this weeks U.S. game releases, I wanted to apologize for the hours the blog had slowdown and downtime on Monday, it couldn’t be helped. There were too many replies on various pages and I’ve split those up in paged comments now, which has presumably fixed the problems.

The most popular games are Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii (launched on Sunday), Condemned 2: Bloodshot on Xbox 360 & PS3, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates on DS, and Insecticide on DS. On the downloadable games front we’ve got today’s Milon’s DokiDoki Adventure and Puyo Puyo 2 on the Wii Virtual Console, as well as Bliss Island and Brain Challenge on Xbox Live Arcade (updates Wednesday). While Sam & Max Season Two: Episode 4: Chariots of the Dogs arrives for the PC through GameTap. No word on any PlayStation Store games yet (updates Thursday).
