Krystal talks in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Nintendo helps out fans plagued by non-working copies

Krystal was one of the rumored secret Super Smash Bros. Brawl characters who didn’t make it into the game in playable form. But in the following Star Fox and Star Wolf secret audio transmissions, you’ll be able to see and hear her smack talk the rest of the Star Fox crew and Star Wolf enemies. To try this yourself, press up, down, up, down, on the taunt pad.

Also in the news after Sunday’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl launch is: Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the first Wii game to use a double-layer DVD disc, which has a large memory capacity. But a very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is some contamination on the lens of the disc drive (read: if dust got in your Wii). Nintendo has specialized cleaning equipment that can resolve this problem, but you’ll have to send your Wii and copy of the game in to them. Before you send it in though, here’s a tip readers have given me: If it’s not working, turn off your Wii. Then put your Wii in its vertical position if you normally have it lying down vertically and try starting the game that way. And yes, I had to chuckle as I wrote that, but I’m serious, try that first if the game’s not working before you go sending it in. Good luck!

I CAN’T BELEIVE IT!!! I was so exited that I was gonna get to play Krystal! This really sucks! I was s happy! WAAAAAA!!! This is so dissapointing! The better put her AND Midna in the next Super Smash Brothers game!

Hold on. You don’t press up down up down. You press up AND down at the same time. if you do it right, your guy will do a arm pump and then salute. To get that same transmission though, you nedd to do it before the planet corneria goes by, so lets say your in the astroid belt, and you know you will warp to corneria next, you press up and down at the same time so that the transmission will be that one.
