Warhawk 2 and Warhawk single-player and further expansions all possible on PS3 according to developer Incognito

At the Game Developers Conference 2008 this week, Warhawk developer Incognito said they’d continue support for the online multiplayer-only game through a number of booster packs (like Operation: Omega Dawn and Operation: Broken Mirror) in the future. New game modes are also in the works, but they will not be a part of the booster pack. Instead, game modes will be released for free and integrated into patches and updates.

A single-player mode was dropped from Warhawk, but that doesn’t mean it won’t ever happen. “We made a strategic decision to go multiplayer only and I would be against doing a set of single-player expansion packs for Warhawk,” said Jobe, but, “if we look at doing single-player in the future [it would be] related to a new product.” He also added that Incognito is interested in taking Warhawk beyond the current PS3 title, stating that, “if there is an opportunity that presents itself for us to further the franchise then we’ll definitely take advantage of it.” Nice to know Warhawk 2 is possible! — Quote via 1UP

Wepon add shotgun.. first person and 3rd person should b optional.. (LIKE pro-flight.. and regular fight) add more ranks / achievements…. more unlocable clothes for bolth Equadian an Charnovian… more insignias… optional 1st person fly mode… and the only outher wepon missing is a shotgun.. outher then slight upgrades an more levels Warhawk is a 10 of 10 game

i think they should have alot of different type of guns like call of duty and should be able to upgrade your gun with lazer or scope like rainbow six and a an awesome story mode with 2 players like halo and if your in a local server if you have a killing streak you can have airstrike or dogs thats what i would be hopping for in the next game warhawk i give a 8.5

Oh yea, make jeeps and whatever vehicles you add(boats, motercycles) make these have guns wen ur drivin’ them so the driver can shoot too.

What we need is more players in game, more maps (but keep the old ones), Squads and players hosted parties (so friends can stick together when going in game), and like some weapon melee other than the sword (aka the pistol-whip), that’ll be awesome

I think that there should be a story mode. I’m sorry, but I just think that it would be way better. But ofcourse, keep the online. I just think that an added in story mode would make the game so much better.

I think that there should be WAY more wepons, and take out the d-pad selection (since it can only hold 8 weapons)

And PLEASE, don’t make it in space.. Keep it the same, I love it, and so does most of you’re players.

And, aside from that its an awsome game.
