Warhawk 2 and Warhawk single-player and further expansions all possible on PS3 according to developer Incognito

At the Game Developers Conference 2008 this week, Warhawk developer Incognito said they’d continue support for the online multiplayer-only game through a number of booster packs (like Operation: Omega Dawn and Operation: Broken Mirror) in the future. New game modes are also in the works, but they will not be a part of the booster pack. Instead, game modes will be released for free and integrated into patches and updates.

A single-player mode was dropped from Warhawk, but that doesn’t mean it won’t ever happen. “We made a strategic decision to go multiplayer only and I would be against doing a set of single-player expansion packs for Warhawk,” said Jobe, but, “if we look at doing single-player in the future [it would be] related to a new product.” He also added that Incognito is interested in taking Warhawk beyond the current PS3 title, stating that, “if there is an opportunity that presents itself for us to further the franchise then we’ll definitely take advantage of it.” Nice to know Warhawk 2 is possible! — Quote via 1UP

they should make a forum to talk about warhawk and the games we play in..

I really need to rank up, because most of the people laugh at me that i’m low rank. i really wish you guys could help me out, at least give me a cheat or something, or maybe u guys could rank me up, this is my favorite game in the whole world and it would really be something beautiful if u guys could rank me up to a commander or anything higher than a 2nd lieutenant. thank you for your time reading this and thank you for inventing this game, user1456

@user1456: there are no cheats in WARHAWK only stat-padders, stat-padding is a dishonorable practice that will invoke ninja slayers of various klans. You are better than that!!! The key to ranking up is to get kills using each weapon the way it ought to be used as well as committing random acts of teamwork and then MOST of all ***MAKE SURE YOU EARN THE BADGES/MEDALS/RIBBONS REQUIRED FOR EACH SPECIFIC RANK!!! You may check this by going to Community/Profile/Rank Advancement and viewing the requirements on the right hand side of the screen. ViVa Le ReSiStAnCe!!!

lol a MMORPG maintaining most of the core gameplay…. good luck with that, there completely different genres and styles of game. They need to make a warhawk 2 just with different/more maps, vehicles and guns while keeping or at least incorporating somehow the players score from the original game

just make a new update for warhawk a campaing mode for single players and ingcognito should have a co-op selection like if you want to play with your friend or brother
