Angry Video Game Nerd reviews the Virtual Boy and its games

Nintendo Virtual Boy systemThis is the fortieth in a series of bad video game reviews by the Angry Video Game Nerd. Watch as the Angry Video Game Nerd starts getting a red head playing the Nintendo Virtual Boy and the games released for the system in its 1995-1996 lifetime. There are a couple of games he actually likes, but then goes on to say they shouldn’t be on the Virtual Boy. Not a surprise with the system setting automatic breaks every 15 minutes to prevent eye strain. No wonder it took The Nerd over a month to review all games.

Widely thought of as one of the biggest disasters in video game history, The Nerd takes a humorous look at every single game in the Virtual Boy’s catalog. Relatively fair but still coarse language ahead.

I have one too, I love it since it doesn’t give me eyestrain at all, it’s got a handful of great games. I strongly believe Wario Land on Virtual Boy is the best in the series across all Nintendo systems, like The Nerd says “it’s darn awesome”. It’s ironic that It really is one of Nintendo’s best 2D platformers, because very few people will ever find that out.
