Xbox Live to host GDC (Game Developers Conference) so gamers can tune in from comfort of their couch

GDC 08 (Game Developer's Conference) logoXbox Live will host GDC (Game Developer’s Conference) once again as it has been doing annually for quite some time.

The show will take place in San Francisco next week and Microsoft will be bringing gamers all the breaking headlines for download from the comfort of their couches! Free of charge. The event kicks off February 20th. In addition to news being available you will also be able to watch footage of the keynote address by John Schappert.

But coolest of all, Microsoft is promising some brand new gameplay footage, demos, screenshots and interviews for download during GDC! So make sure you tune in and keep an eye out.

Schappert’s keynote address is scheduled from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on February 20, and the Live download will feature highlights.

The keynote, A Future Wide Open: Unleashing the Creative Community, “will provide an exciting view into this year’s plans for Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business”, says Microsoft.
