Confirmed for Super Smash Bros. Brawl: Luigi, Ganondorf, Captain Falcon, Marth, Falco Lombardi, Mr. Game & Watch, R.O.B. and Young Link

On Thursday, January 31st, in Japan the Wii fighting game Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be released. There will be millions of fans trying to get their hands on the game early, so it’s no surprise now that Japanese stores are receiving their orders for the game from Nintendo, that the game’s street date is broken.

As a result we can now confirm 1 newcomer and 7 veteran Super Smash Bros. characters for Brawl to you! Here are the new characters:

Luigi (from the Mario series)

Ganondorf (from The Legend of Zelda series)
Ganondorf in Super Smash Bros Brawl

Captain Falcon (from the F-Zero series)
Captain Falcon in Super Smash Bros Brawl

Marth (from the Fire Emblem series)

Falco Lombardi (from the Star Fox series)
Falco Lombardi in Super Smash Bros Brawl

Mr. Game & Watch (from the classic Game & Watch series)
Mr Game and Watch in Super Smash Bros Brawl

R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy, known as Robot in Japan — from the NES games Gyromite & Stack-Up)
ROB in Super Smash Bros Brawl

Young Link (known as Toon Link in Japan — from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker)

The following character roster from the Japanese version of the game shows all the so-far unveiled Brawl characters, except for the already confirmed Jigglypuff and possible others we don’t know about yet.

Here’s a new gameplay video showing the character and stage select and a battle.

In the Subspace Emissary Marth and Metaknight confront each other and then… team up!?

yeah i was worried that Falco wouldn’t make it too but i still hope he’s there for the American version because he’s still not confirmed as a secret fighter or a veteran fighter in the Smash Bros. Dojo.

Never mind what i said yesterday. Today we have nothing to worry about. because today they just added Falco on the Smash Bros. Dojo as a Secret Fighter and there was 4 slots on the Secret Fighters list and Falco was the last Secret Fighter to fit the bill.

But there’s a strange thing though, on the Veteran Fighters list there are still 3 empty slots. do you think those 3 characters could be . . .

I am loving the info, I just doubt the dojo will have all of the characters before the game is released. After all, the dojo has covered almost everything else. So maybe they’ll finish it, maybe they’ll have the complete roster the day before its released.

Why do so many people complain about the roster when there are so many other things that are completely awesome about it. Stage Creator, come on, I don’t think that would ever get boring.

The roster is completely fine, and I guess its for us to find out ourselves who is on the roster and who isn’t. Only thing we can all do is wait, and find some sources to trust. Thats all. =P

I’m back and Sharpedo43 Captain Falcon,
Ganondorf, and Jigglypuff are seceret characters besides C.Falcon was confermined as a seceret character on dojo. I predict that Lucario will be the next seceret character announced on dojo .Jigglypuff and Ganondorf have to be unlocked so they are seceret characters.

hey guys did you know there is 15 more days march 9th. i have been counting everyday. go on youtube and you can find all 32 levels of sub space edmissary.

I have seen all 32 levels and the part 2s and the spoilers (spoilers are point less just watch the subspace emissary).Brawl cental 3.0 was ment to have a ton of updates after the upgrade but they are really strugling to get any PS I was wright about 35 characters (not including PT pokemon and sheik and the others) and 41 stages like I said on one of these blogs last month.
