Pikmin and Olimar playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The Pikmin and Captain Olimar are added to the Super Smash Bros. Brawl cast as a playable character! Joining Olimar are five colors of Pikmin in tow. Olimar plucks Pikmin from the ground and they fight as his allies.

To quote the Wii fighting game’s director Masahiro Sakurai: “Without Pikmin, Olimar can’t even do a Smash Attack. And the short-lived Pikmin tend to scatter. Theirs is a fated symbiotic relationship.” He also updated the official site with the “Pikmin: World Map” song.

Could February 10th BE any further away?

Olimar is seriously terrible. His final smash is the only thing that saves him, but besides that, his moves are really bad. trust me.

Olimar is actually the best character if you know how to use him. It takes time to master him but if you get good enough he is the most skilled. People that say he sucks usually just didn’t uses him very much. And for the guy above me, Kirby was actually extremely upgraded this time around and he is in the top three along with Yoshi. Truthfully though this guy is obviously lying unless he practices with Kirby. My friend plays with Olimar after he practiced with him only for about 3 months straight. If you can find it, I actually got this info from the gamemakers.
