Little Big Planet delayed to fall 2008. Level editor video shown at CES 2008

Little Big Planet logoWord from CES 2008 is that Little Big Planet developer Media Molecule during a presentation said that since the game is currently in pre-alpha, a beta is expected in late spring 2008, and the game’s release won’t be until fall 2008. But at least then it will be Blu-Ray worldwide release (the game will also be available via PlayStation Store download).

One of the developers shows the upcoming PS3 creation-platformer game Little Big Planet in action. Watch as an entire level is created before your eyes!

It was also announced that players will now be able to die in the game, perhaps in response to concerns that LittleBigPlanet’s open nature and player-driven levels would otherwise have a lack of tension, says Shacknews.
