New Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li movie stars Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) as Chun-Li

Smallville TV show star Kristin Kreuk will play as Chun-Li in Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li! Directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak from a Justin Marks script, the action movie will start filming in Thailand in March, 2008.

20th Century Fox will distribute the live-action film based on Capcom’s fighting video game. The movie is focused on female fighter Chun-Li and her journey for justice.

The following Kristin Kreuk video is a fan-made movie starring Kristin Kreuk (playing Lana Lang, Clark Kent’s love interest) from the popular TV show Smallville chronicling Superman’s younger years. The scenes show off her moves as she gets “infected with special asskicking powers.” That’s not really what someone from the film said, I felt like quoting myself. Enjoy the video!

YEEEEES!!! She already kinda did it in Smallville, what an extra 90 minutes or so.

She has got the part down to a T. You saw her throwing ki energy, jumping around, doing back kicks. She is a shoe-in

Only thing would be, maybe instead of the tights, let her wear the Alpha series garnments. I think they were cooler. IMO

Tights? Garnments? How about just that blue skirt. Let Kristin train her skinny legs till she gets more muscular, since that’s what Chun-Li is famous for!

The resemblance is uncanny however she needs to work on those thighs cause Chun-Li’s are huge. I really hope she has her trade mark blue piqao and spiked bracelets with her hair styled in ox horns. I hope the fights aren’t all special effects though that would be lame.

STREET FIGHTER:LEGEND OF RYU.

I don’t want to argue with the critics on the Street Fighter film so with the Chun Li storyline I don’t like the ideas on the project
and Justin Marks has screwed everything up on the script and the story should be more on Ryu and Ken and Chun Li could be in the film so it’s too late on changing things.
Smallville actress Kristin Kreuk is not the best choice for Chun Li.
Tekken is also going to the big screen and Dwight Little should not be a director for this film so no it’s crap.

i think kristin have the best face features to play chun li. her exotic half dutch chinese-jamaican face will drop everyone’s jaw and make ‘em drool…
and i also think she can kick arse…coz she was in natinonal level gymnastic team during high school…so her body is damn flexy!!
if a caucasian girl play chun li, it’ll look funny coz the role chun li,,,is obviously japanese…but kristin got the asian genes…
so i think it’s a great role for kreuk!

and you pick this girl to be her?!
you couldnt get a fullblood chinese girl with actual martial art and acting abilities to be chun li?
if your gonna go all scrawny in picking

at least shes is chinese all te way and she knows martial arts……
