First Dragon Ball Z Budokai 4: Burst Limit trailer

Dragon Ball Z Budokai 4: Burst Limit is the latest fighting game based on the popular anime/manga series Dragon Ball Z and will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2008.

Developer Dimps, known for creating Dragon Ball Z Budokai 1, 2 and 3, will be developing Dragon Ball Z Budokai 4: Burst Limit as well, while at the moment it’s only known as Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit in Japan, it’s clearly a Versus Fighting Budokai title. They have also announced new features include dynamic in-battle cutscenes and an online mode.

Confirmed playable characters are: Goku, Teen Gohan, Frieza (all forms), Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, Cell, Android 16, Android 17, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Saibaman, Nail, Recoome and Captain Ginyu.

everyone stop saying make it like tenkaichi , they are going to be made by two different publishers. DBZ Budokai- Tenkaichi was made with Atari. DBZ Burst Limit is being made my Bandai and Namco! There will be another game released in japan and im hoping this is the same one where you can create your own charcter. i do not know the publisher who is making that game but i hope this is the same in an American version!!!

why do we have to wait 3 games everytime the dbz world comes to a new gen console before getting a decent roster of characters? this thing will only have 35 yep, only 35 compared to over 100 on the ps2, so only one or two movie characters, no gt characters at all and from what I recognize watching footage it will play like the number 3 with less characters to choose and fancy graphics, i was getting worked up for a bit before reading the charcter list, but would love a create your own character option

how many characters are there in burst limit, will there be the same amount as budokai tenkaichi 2?

I don’t think this is a continuance of the budokai series. I’ve played the demo for Ps3 and the game format is totally different. It’s a lot easier to play than the last two installments of budokai tenkaichi.

i have also played the demo like stu said the controls are alot better, so there will be no more button mashing i recommend getting the game if you like the story lines of dbz but then again this game is only going up to the android saga with cell that is also the reason that there will only be 35 characters.
