Mass Effect: Ascension book bridges the gap between the Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 games
Del-Rey Books and author Drew Karpyshyn have announced the second volume in the Mass Effect series of novels titled Mass Effect: Ascension. The book will bridge the gap between the ending of the first Mass Effect game and the start of Mass Effect 2. It will be released in the summer of 2008.
The first book titled Mass Effect: Revelation was released on May 1st, 2007. It served as a prequel to the Xbox 360-exclusive Mass Effect RPG, which wasn’t released until November 20th, 2007.
