Duke Nukem Forever teaser video!

3D Realms boss George Broussard is the man behind Duke Nukem. Yesterday on the company’s official forums he announced that the first Duke Nukem Forever teaser video was coming today! I’m sure you’re thinking “yeah right, we’ve seen Duke Nukem Forever videos before” and you have back in 1998 and 2001, but for them to release it now, might maybe possibly indicate a 2008 release!

To quote: “Last Saturday we had our annual company Christmas party. It was a lot of fun as usual but it featured one special surprise. It turns out that several people had been secretly working late nights and into the wee hours of the morning preparing a special video for those at the party. They created a short teaser for Duke Nukem Forever.

After seeing the teaser we thought it was something we should share with all of you and while it’s just a teaser, rest assured more is coming.

Thank you for being fans of the game and for your continued patience.” — What more can I add? You should have clicked on the Play button already!

Haha. Sweet! I’ve never been a big fan of Duke Nukem, although I remember watching my cousin play through it, but even I’m a little excited to see this game after so long.

It’ll be really interesting to see what the gameplay is going to be like. But I love what they’ve done with the character model and the teaser is just cool all around. Hopefully this will be the beginning of steady updates and looks at the game!

Ever since the E3 2001 trailer I have been pumped for this game but I think this new trailer looks awful. I wrote about this more on my blog.
