Devil May Cry 4 story trailer and new features info like (refund) moves

Devil May Cry 4 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (due February 5th, 2008) starts off with two difficulty modes: Human and Devil Hunter. Human is the toned down Normal mode of the hack and slash action game, whereas Devil Hunter is the harder version for the fans. A Replay Stages feature has been added, as well as Online Leaderboards, which are calculated by adding Stylish points that have a numerical value system behind them. This is displayed for the player to use when they are going for the Stylish Points run (similar to Ninja Gaiden’s Karma runs).

Nero moves include: an Air Hike move, the ability the increase the range of his Snatch as well as an Aerial Launcher (seen in the new trailer below). You can perform a Hightime in mid-air for even more insane combos. Other moves are High Roller, Roulette Spin, Split and Double Down.

So how do you get these moves? Via a new “Proud Soul” currency that’s added to DMC4. These Proud Souls are used to purchase special moves and abilities. Proud Souls are calculated at the end of the mission instead of Red orbs, which are also converted into Proud Souls. You can actually refund moves/items you don’t like that you have purchased to get back your Proud Souls. Also it appears that the cost of un-purchased moves goes up every time you don’t purchase it for something else.
