Celebrate 2 years of VGB: Win Super Mario Galaxy or Assassin’s Creed!

VGB is celebrating its second birthday today! There’s no better way to do this than by giving away a present to a lucky reader.

For the past week we ran a poll in the left menu asking you which of the ten new games listed you’d like to win. In the last four days it was tied between Super Mario Galaxy & Assassin’s Creed and ended up with each getting 22% of the 328 votes. As a result this new competition will give the choice to win one or the other. Welcome to our Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) or Assassin’s Creed (Xbox 360, PS3) competition!

You have a chance to win your game of choice for free until November 30th when the competition ends. The next day we’ll order the game from your local Amazon store.

What do you need to do to win? Answer this question: “What game do you want to win, and why do you want that game?” Leave your comment below, the best answer wins! Also, we are sensitive to bday flattery. Just sayin’.

What are the rules? All you have to do is leave a comment with your answer on this page. Fill out your real email so we can contact you if you win (your email will be invisible to other readers, only the site staff can see it). Also, if you won our previous (Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3) contest, then you cannot enter twice in a row, that wouldn’t be fair to all the other participants. Good luck!

Ok, I’ll be honest (hope my siblings won’t not read this) I just bought a Nintendo Wii for my little brother and sister (14 and 13, I’m 24, and all I bought for me was Need 4 Speed Pro Street on ps2), and really I would like to give them their new console with a game (besides Wii sports). I played Assassin’ Creed at a friend’s house, the game looks great, but I would really like to give it to my little loved ones. My brother already saw a commercial and told me the game looked awesome!, so that’s why I would like to win, I know even my mom will play it!

This site rocks, Wii just blows my mind. If I got Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii I’d send a pic, a video or something to show how excited I am to get it. I want it more than Bush makes for an Xbox 360 accident joke.

Well done on getting to two years!
I guess I’d better tell the truth, so:
I’ve already got Assassin’s Creed and SMG, so I’d like a copy of either to sell on eBay.

There’s no need to publish this comment, but:
“you cannot enter twice in a row, that wouldn’t be fair to all the other participants.”
You’re not allowed to say that – it turns your free prize draw into a lottery, and I doubt you have the license for a lottery.

Super Mario Galaxy ROOOCKS!!!!!!!!! I LOVE VGB. I also neeed Super Mario Galaxy, PLEEASE!! It is my favorite game in the world!!! It would stink if I didn’t get it

Assasin’s Creed on Xbox 360 because I prefer what he’s wearing to Mario. Red Dungers are so uncool
