Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 might feature a character creator

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is already talked about by the game’s creators. They mention always listening to fan comments and admit that was the reason why they added online multiplayer on Wii and many more characters in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 after Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 on PS2 and Wii. One of the features still missing is a character creator, but that might change in 2008.

To quote Atari producer Donny Clay: “Unfortunately there are some things that are requested by several different fans that we aren’t able to do just yet. For example, one of things we get asked for quite a bit is a completely custom character system from the ground up. Meaning players want to be able to build their own character with their own moves and their own look. This is definitely something I would love to do as well, we just haven’t had the chance to get this into a game yet. Don’t worry though I won’t forget.”

That should come as no surprise since the upcoming Dragon Ball Online MMO game also features a character creator tool that allows you to make your own Saiyan, Human or Namek.

In recent interviews the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 team mentions working on a next-gen game and being a fan of the Xbox 360, so my guess would be that the next DBZ game is coming to not just Wii and PS2, but also Xbox 360 and PS3. Makes sense for them to want to make the graphics look even better and have more online features. Throw in the character creator on top of even more than the 161 characters in the last game and you’ve got yourself Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4.

As the official DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi blog says: “When we’re coming up with a new DBZ game, we first think about what the fans on the forums and message boards have been asking about.” So what do you want in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4?

PS: There’s also a Dragon Ball Z: Budokai “Burst Limit” game in development for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Update May 19th, 2009: After 1.5 years of waiting, the first magazine announcement of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 has been revealed in Japan, where the next Tenkaichi game for Xbox 360 and PS3 is titled Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast!

There will be only regular DLC characters updated every two weeks.
Somethings like tenkaichi 3 red potaras code characters.

But what this game really need is update for online fight.
-There are some “super” fighters who break the match close before they loose. This should be like time out with clearly winners and points.

Yo I really want to play this game. Ever since I was young I imagined myself as a character. I really hope that they make a Character Creator.

What Dragonball Budokai Tenkaichi 4 needs is more quotes from players while fighting & during fighting alot more. Not the same ones as before, but new ones or can we add our own quotes in battle with their voices like about 100 quotes each. Show the power level like for instance Kaio Ken Attack be like 25,000 Kaio Ken x3 would be 75,000 x4 would be like 100 thousand x5 125,000, x6 150,000, x7 175,000 x8 200,000 x9 225,000, x10 250,000. And you could reach SS1 Level if you train to reach 5 million but for Goku and Vegeta, it should be easy for them & future trunks too. Super Saiyan be like 5 million, & everytime you train as a SS1 it goes higher like 6 million. And Ultra SS1 would be a boost of Energy like 30 million & when you train as well, it goes higher. SS2 would be like 250 million & when you train in other world like the Kais’ Planet or the Supremes world that the gravity level is more up there that your power boosts even higher to abtain higher levels like SS3 which would be like 500 million, or you could train as a SS2 level, but have to train really REALLY hard to reach SS3. Same as any other Level to train very hard to the next SS stage. But let that be a Special technique for Vegeta & the other Saiyans to reach the goal, and let see what they would look like at SS1,2,3,&4 That would be cool. Even Broly as well. We want more moves & disappearing moves for as strong as you like SS1,2,3,4. Let there be a special treat for fans that get to see Goku And Vegeta reach SS5, That would be AWESOME. We would like to see King Vegeta have more quotes & lines to say as well as Bardock & the other saiyans, & we would like them to reach SS1,2,3,4 levels & have old & new techniques added to their SS levels. When Training, have the characters yell out for at least a good 5 seconds when they reach a Higher Level like SS1,2,3,4,. That would be cool as well. And also when they fight, have them yell really 5 sec long and have their own music from the Dragonball Z soundtrack & DBGT soundtrack music. That would be cool as well. Have them have smart mouths everytime they reach a level, like your hits feel like a feather. Train with additional players to get stronger, like if you train with 1, you can request more chracters to fight for training purposes. but you have to be like really good with alot of training to ask a noble training process. We need every Character from Dragonball,& DBZ and DBGT including their clothes & hair style and longer story mode fights. And like Babi Vegeta first starts off by fighting. lets see babi inflict cuts on his Vegeta’s body & that you can see the blood and that you can use Vegeta’s power up and yell really loud & we can see Babi enter in side of him. That would be cool as well. We want all of Babi Vegeta’s tranformation with clothes and look changes as well as the other fighters. We want to see Babi Vegeta fight to be very powerful Babi Vegeta, by fighting Goku’s Kids & turning the world into Tuffle Planet. And using the Saiyans power to increase his power, & to see him change while he does. Oh yeah let’s have THE LEGENDARY OF SAIYANS THERE AS WELL. The one Vegeta spoke of in Frieza saga, the one that supposably had killed himself because he had to much power level to control. Oh yeah every time you transform that the control shakes on both sides & for the world to go dark and the waves get bigger and lightning strikes the planet. That would be cool as well. Have Piccilo get a boost as well as regular Piccillo would have a 10,000 energy at first and he gets strong as well by training and merging with Nail TO reach a power level of 1,500,000 and Kame to be a SUPER NAMEK which would be 10 million. Have young Trunks from THE HISTORY OF TRUNKS in there and as young Trunks as SS1. Let ther be a new story mode for additional new enemies we have to fight. Let’s not forget to bring the Green Shenron Dragon as well as the Red Shenron Dragon with different color dragonballs.

In some Raging Blast reviews They say something about bad automatic camera and that You Can’t switch it. Ranking Down.
Please there are not so many buttons on the gamepad. Just left of right on +.

There should be an online tornamant mode where u can play different characters around the world to take advantage if the next gen systems online connectivity and more wishes once you collect all the dragonballs and a more detailed story line to fit wit the series
