Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 might feature a character creator

Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 1 for PS2Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 is already talked about by the game’s creators. They mention always listening to fan comments and admit that was the reason why they added online multiplayer on Wii and many more characters in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 after Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 on PS2 and Wii. One of the features still missing is a character creator, but that might change in 2008.

Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for PS2To quote Atari producer Donny Clay: “Unfortunately there are some things that are requested by several different fans that we aren’t able to do just yet. For example, one of things we get asked for quite a bit is a completely custom character system from the ground up. Meaning players want to be able to build their own character with their own moves and their own look. This is definitely something I would love to do as well, we just haven’t had the chance to get this into a game yet. Don’t worry though I won’t forget.”

That should come as no surprise since the upcoming Dragon Ball Online MMO game also features a character creator tool that allows you to make your own Saiyan, Human or Namek.

Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for PS2In recent interviews the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 team mentions working on a next-gen game and being a fan of the Xbox 360, so my guess would be that the next DBZ game is coming to not just Wii and PS2, but also Xbox 360 and PS3. Makes sense for them to want to make the graphics look even better and have more online features. Throw in the character creator on top of even more than the 161 characters in the last game and you’ve got yourself Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4.

As the official DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi blog says: “When we’re coming up with a new DBZ game, we first think about what the fans on the forums and message boards have been asking about.” So what do you want in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4?

PS: There’s also a Dragon Ball Z: Budokai “Burst Limit” game in development for PS3 and Xbox 360.

    1) Make the sagas longer like on, on BT3 you don’t get most fights in the Buu saga as you don’t get to use Gotenks.
    2) Make a ‘create your own person thing’ like you do a story of what you would do as a good Namek, Evil Namek, one of frienzas family (evil), cells life, an evil saiyans life and a good saiyans life, buus life etc.
    3) As a good saiyan you should follow Goku’s life but you can fuse with Goku and he and Vegeta are your two rivals
    4)As a kid you should be able to turn super saiyan, but it should not be enough so that you fuse with kid Goku /Kid Vegeta/ Trunks/
    Goten/ Kid Gohan etc.
    5)Instead of just unlocking super saiyan etc, you should have to level up to get it it should come up after each level or battle you have gained ????? exp.
    6)In each life you should have to be a kid, teenager, adult and as a good saiyan a kid again like in GT
    7)Make your own arena
    8)Put on all charcters that fight like Oolong, all the shenrons, teenager goku vegeta etc.
    9)As a good saiyan you should get ssj as a kid and fuse as a kid, as a tennager you should get ssj2 and fuse, as an adult you should get ssj3 and fuse and as in gt you should turn to a kid again and get super saiyan 4 and 5 and golden ozaru.
    10)More sagas after you complete it.
    11)Have a human life aswell.
    12)Instead of crushing a house to get a dragonball on story mode you should have to visit 7 planets that you search like on dragonball z budokai 3, but you should have to beat a numbr of opponeents for some of them.
    13)Team up with nintendo and get special guests hosts such as super sonic, super shadow, luigi, mario etc. They should all be able to fly.

    P.S I love dragonball z I hope you put all my ideas into your next game either DBZBT4 or if there is one a final dragonball Z called DragonBall Z Final Adventure, please contact me to say what you think of my ideas and which ones you will use, bye

    If you want some awesome ideas checkout the list from 9898946447 which is on page 131 I love the idea of making a good saiyan, evil saiyan, god namek, evil namek, buus family, cells family, friezas family a human which i think should include guns and stuff, with knives and i want to add something my self i want them to have blood on their face and cut marks etc. Better damage basically.

    I also want to see more charcters from moreless every episode from dragonball, dragonball z, gt and if you could, make some of the people off dragonball af including goku + vegeta ssj5 and all the new super saiyans and fusions.

    Make a bonus editon where you can create your person with evry little detail including costume, hair, skin tone, shoes, colour of suites, you should be able to make different suites for each form. And customise your moves so if your using the wii remote you pick the moves you want and move the wii remote of how you want it to use it
