Resistance 2 release date expected on PS3 in November 2008

The Resistance 2 release date in North America falls on November 4th, whereas the European launch takes place on November 28th, 2008.

Sony started pre-Alpha testing Resistance 2, the sequel to the PS3’s FPS launch title Resistance: Fall of Man, in January 2008.

Original newsreport: Recent murmurings have suggested the sequel is being tentatively prepared for release in November 2008. Rumors from a CVG source indicate the game will relocate the alien-bashing action to cities like San Francisco and Chicago in the United States of America. The first game’s star Sergeant Nathan Hale will allegedly return, but not necessarily in the leading role. Multiplayer matches are said to feature vehicles now. It even went as far as to say that the sequel will feature a cliff-hanger ending paving the way for Resistance 3.

i think all u xbox haters need to f%$k off..iv been playin resistance for about 2 and half months..and the game is bad @ss..but halo will always be the best game

Children please…i am a die-hard Sony playstation player to the bone; but does Gears 2 look impressive, hell yeah it does but i am not gonna buy another system just to play..i play my friends when he gets it back from microsoft…oh well ..but Resistance 2 looks cool but i’m waiting for Killzone 2, that is what should be battling GOW2 right now.

i think resistance 2 is gonna be an AMAZING game and i cant wait for it, but i also thnk GOW2 shall impressive aswell plus you cant compare a third person shooter to a first plus there exlclusives so each will be winners for there systems:)

Seriously,

Resistance is godly, #2 is gonna be even better. Sure GOW2 look good, but Halo is for little kids, way to kiddish looking. And what all Xbox lovers seem to forget .. its Microsoft … enough said.

All my friends that have x360 have had to send it back because it died overheating lol … not a single issuse with PS3 yet.

I agree wiv all ov ya guys halo reli iz childish it also mega borin, ive had resistance for ages it probz best game ive been on . altho call ov duty 4 iz gud…….yh m8 miscrosoft………sony….. sony obviously best people eva…. oh yeh and ………………………..XBOX360 SUCKS ASS.. PS3 no prblems at all……………3 rings of death!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah ring of death is garbage but still what are you guys talking about.. x box is sick.. and I don’t even have one..they have really good titles like fable gears bioshock, which was just relesed to ps3.. now for resitence.. I wasn’t really into it bc I played it long after it came out.. I think this next one should be a lot better..

No doubt that xbox used to be the best console, but now theyre drawing even, Sony is getting some ace games and it is starting to rival the xbox online as well.

I like both consoles, I only have time for one and because I was used to the PS3 and wanted a console that would be around for a long time I got it, enough said, they’re both solid consoles in their own right.
This looks amazing, the beta was great in co-op, though competitive was quite boring, stalemates in the core control all the time and deathmatches were pretty unspectacular after COD. The big seller for this will be the single player, that and the co-op, which was just good fun.
