Guitar Hero 3 bundle for Xbox 360While looking through Guitar Hero 3‘s Xbox Live Leaderboards, a Scorehero forumer found (with photographic proof) nine songs not in the game that are meant to be released as downloadable content along with the three battle songs for scoring. Expect each band’s songs to be sold separately as a 3-song pack. Like in our Guitar Hero 3 74 songs list, I’ve linked to videos for each song.

The list is as follows:
1. All My Life (Foo Fighters)
2. The Pretender (Foo Fighters)
3. This Is A Call (Foo Fighters)
4. Slither (Velvet Revolver)
5. She Builds Quick Machines (Velvet Revolver)
6. Messages (Velvet Revolver)
7. Tom Morello (Guitar Boss Battle)
8. Slash (Guitar Boss Battle)
9. The Devil Went Down to Georgia (Guitar Boss Battle)
10. Carcinogen Crush (AFI, comes with the Guitar Hero CD / Companion Pack)
11. Tina (Flyleaf, comes with the Guitar Hero CD / Companion Pack)
12. Putting Holes In Happiness (Marilyn Manson, comes with the Guitar Hero CD / Companion Pack)

Keep in mind that only PS2 owners of the game cannot download extra song packs, everyone else will be able to get these… at a so far unknown price. The previous Guitar Hero 2 downloads cost $6.25 for each pack on the Xbox 360, and since those have been downloaded over 650,000 times, I wouldn’t expect Activision to change the price.

Update November 7: Activision has officialy announced the downloadable songs will be coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 first in November 2007.

I’m curious why there is negligible Canadian content on these games. Are you telling me that songs like “American Woman”, “Takin Care Of Business” or “Limelight” wouldn’t make awesome additions. If that’s too old school for you, how bout some Sloan, Simple Plan, or Hip? Just wondering.

I’m tired of all these people randomly saying, I beat through the Fire and Flames 100%! We all know if they got a 100 percent then it was on easy and it is really no big accomplishment. I respect retro gamers. haha. I still play my N64 all the time. haha. I am what you would call an average player. I can play some songs on expert but not all.

Sadly I can NOT make it though Fire & Flames on easy without getting boooo-ed off stage! Gives me a LOT of respect for real guitarists playing 6 strings and I don’t know how many frets, vs. one strum button and 5 fret buttons! Watch the Priestess “Lay Down” video… they show a bit of the guitar work, and it is cool to watch.

So, no downloads for pc, eh? Those of us who game exclusively on pc shouldn’t be surprised. They pretty much don’t know we’re out here playing faster machines with better graphics than any of their overpriced consoles…Ah, well. I guess its back to RTR for me. Later.

Playing Through the Fire and the Flames on Expert is not that difficult if you can get the hammer-ons and the pull-downs on it, A lot of people don’t process the speed of the notes as quickly as others can.. therefore making it vry difficult to play the song. I have played here in Iraq for 15 months.
I can play Hyperspeed 5 on Hard and I can only play hyperspeed 3 on Expert. But the notes come at you so fast, that once you fail or the song is over the whole tv screen seems to “draw” back into itself It’s really cool! But anyway.. I can’t play 100 %.. not even 95%.. But I can get 93% note accuracy on HS3Expert. The song is totally insane. but if you wanna really talk smack…Play ANY SONG on Performance mode. I Guaruntee you will Fail, unless you Eat sleep and drink that particular song, Note for Note. I can play Lacuna Coil’s Closer on HS5at 99%Accuracy on performance mode. But that is only because it is my “warm-up” song for playing So i know it note for note.

Please, Try not to make yourself feel better, or belittle my skill, if you can’t play worth a sh*t. But for everyone else who actually plays GH3 on Expert decently, good job.
