Guitar Hero 3 downloadable content list shows 12 songs (for November)

Guitar Hero 3 bundle for Xbox 360While looking through Guitar Hero 3’s Xbox Live Leaderboards, a Scorehero forumer found (with photographic proof) nine songs not in the game that are meant to be released as downloadable content along with the three battle songs for scoring. Expect each band’s songs to be sold separately as a 3-song pack. Like in our Guitar Hero 3 74 songs list, I’ve linked to videos for each song.

The list is as follows:
1. All My Life (Foo Fighters)
2. The Pretender (Foo Fighters)
3. This Is A Call (Foo Fighters)
4. Slither (Velvet Revolver)
5. She Builds Quick Machines (Velvet Revolver)
6. Messages (Velvet Revolver)
7. Tom Morello (Guitar Boss Battle)
8. Slash (Guitar Boss Battle)
9. The Devil Went Down to Georgia (Guitar Boss Battle)
10. Carcinogen Crush (AFI, comes with the Guitar Hero CD / Companion Pack)
11. Tina (Flyleaf, comes with the Guitar Hero CD / Companion Pack)
12. Putting Holes In Happiness (Marilyn Manson, comes with the Guitar Hero CD / Companion Pack)

Keep in mind that only PS2 owners of the game cannot download extra song packs, everyone else will be able to get these… at a so far unknown price. The previous Guitar Hero 2 downloads cost $6.25 for each pack on the Xbox 360, and since those have been downloaded over 650,000 times, I wouldn’t expect Activision to change the price.

Update November 7: Activision has officialy announced the downloadable songs will be coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 first in November 2007.

Update November 8: Two song packs online for download from the Xbox 360’s Xbox Live Marketplace!

[Mod edit: cursing and insults removed.]

What about downloads for the pc. I want the pretender for the pc. Where can you download it…?

So currently no one knows if the Wii version is getting the Soundpacks, right? I hope so, if only for “The Pretender”.

So for the people out there that think they are the absolute best at Guitar Hero… Maybe you should look into South Park’s new season 11 episode: Guitar Queer-o! Hahaha, Stan and Kyle own you! Check it out if you havent seen it! The ending is spectacular and mindblowing! It will tell all about any die hard guitar hero players!

And hey, I am not EMO, and I play origional Nintendo, because of the replay value for the old school games, when games were made with much more thought and not mass produced for the market, New games you beat once and you dont touch it again until you sell it, except the odd one I guess, but the old classics have a replay value that will last a lifetime! I modded my Xbox just to be able to play all the retro games out there, Atari, Turbo Graffix, Sega, Sega Master System, Nintendo, Super Nintend, PlayStation, Nintendo 64! hahahaha! If you think thats EMO, you dont know what ure missing! Id cut myself and go into a manic state of depression anytime to have that sort of satisfaction! Bwhaha!

lol yeah, I have a PS1. I don’t play with it but the beauty of the ps2 is that you can play the PS1 games on it.

         It is okay but not all the songs u want are on there!

The Nintendo was a great console for its time but it grown old and out of date. I loved many of the games on then N64 but i simply cannot play them anymore due to the slow frame rates and laclluster graphics. And the song packs for the Wii will be available in January, so keep your pants on. And I completely disagrre with whoever said that many games do not have replay value, in the past few months alone games have come out that I will play over and over again such as Halo 3, gears of war, Assasins Creed and BioShock. You all need to stop biotchin and shut up.

i just got 100% on through the fire and flames and im only 10 so suck that james
