Rock Band release date moved up three days to November 20th
Get ready to rock sooner! The release date for Rock Band has been moved up three days to November 20th. That way it doesn’t fall on Black Friday, so you won’t be smashed, pushed, bumped, kicked, trampled or mugged while trying to get your hands on Rock Band for your preferred console (Xbox 360 or PS3, the PS2 version will be coming out on December 10th) by the swarms of blood-thirsty crowds.
The price of the full Rock Band bundle (the game with all instruments) is $169.99, in case you haven’t heard. So prepare to hurt that wallet! But I believe it’ll be worth it to rock out with your entire family/group of friends/fictitious-band-mates for the upcoming and hastily approaching holiday season.
And here’s a little tidbit of information for you. Keep in mind that the guitar controller from Rock Band WILL NOT work with Guitar Hero 2 or 3, due to the extra number of fret board buttons and an effects switch. This was only tested with the Xbox 360 version of the controllers though, not the PS3 one. — Via GS & IGN
