Sonic Versus Mario in Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii screenshot)Warning! Challenger Approaching! Sonic the Hedgehog has been officially confirmed as a playable character in Super Smash Bros Brawl by Nintendo at a press conference in Japan. As the series director Masahiro Sakurai says it: “The one whose Smash appearance has been most desired dashes in from far away at supersonic speed. Sonic the Hedgehog crashes headlong into battle!” For all the fans who’ve been talking about Sonic in Smash Bros Brawl the past year this is the best news ever. YES! This will be legendary with him going Super Sonic, probably as his Final Smash move.

Sonic is his name, speed is his game!

WHO WILL WIN? SONIC OR MARIO?

The Nintendo Fall Press Conference 2007 trailer for Super Smash Bros Brawl on Wii. Has the entire Brawl gang been assembled, or are there even more surprises in store for one of Nintendo’s most anticipated titles?

The fighting game’s release date in America has been delayed until February 10th, 2008.

    Sonic deserves some mother f*cking respect! His games suck not because of him, but Sega for horrible quality and gameplay and 4kids for horrible voices! Sonic is one of the most famous and iconic video game characters of all time who helped lay the bridge and foundatio for gaming. Nothing you do or say can change that! To all those babies complaing about Sonic in Brawl: DON’T PLEASE.

    Aww man, I can’t tell you how much I miss being on this blog.
    Well, now that im back i must ask how is everybody? I know everybody must be having a hell of a time playing brawl, cause I know I am. And kanzaki55, you’re absolutely right, sonic does deserve some respect after all he is a legendary video game icon. And for people to just put him down because of a few lousy things like his games having poor quality are just ignorant. I for one think sonic is BY FAR the most awsome thing to happen in super smash bros. since solid snake, and the whole world went WTH?!?! when they saw him in the game. Sonic also happens to be one of my favorite characters now (next to meta knight anyway)
    Anyway it took me a long looong MIGHTY loooong time to get one, but I finally have a Wii now. And if any of you are looking for a wifi throwdown look me up. But unfortunately our internet is down right now, im just using someone elses computer. But when it’s installed I’ll need you’re freind codes so we can all BRAWL!!!!
