Looks like Super Mario Galaxy, release date November 12th (US), is going to be a bona-fide million seller worldwide no matter how you slice it.
The latest retail pre-order sales for Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii have already exceeded 700,000! Pre-orders is a good indication of first-week sales. So what does this mean? It means that Super Mario Galaxy could likely reach over a million units sold within the first week of it’s release, and probably as 2 million by years end! So far this makes Super Mario Galaxy the Wii’s most pre-ordered game. I wonder if Super Smash Bros. Brawl will beat it’s record . . . .
