Pyramid Head stalks you in Silent Hill: The Arcade videos

I was really surprised to learn that there is actually a Silent Hill arcade game in Japan, and new videos of it in action have surfaced.Pre-Order Silent Hill Origins for PSP Naturally, it is a light gun game with a graphical style of the previous Silent Hill titles. It was announced by Konami at the 2007 Japan Arcade Operator’s Union trade show and released to arcades in Japan in August. It is the only side-game in the series outside of Silent Hill Origins, which will be haunting PSPs in November, and The Silent Hill Experience, a PSP UMD released in April of 2006. The style and characters in the game look similar to those in Silent Hill 2.

The game has both single and multiplayer modes for 1 or 2 people and has you fighting all the enemies you know and love from the franchise, as well as Bosses like good ol’ Pyramid Head. The game stars two all-new characters to the series, Eric and Tina.

The storyline is as follows:
In 1918, a steamboat called The Little Baroness disappeared in Toluca Lake. After 75 years Eric, Tina, Bill, and Jesse come to Silent Hill. Eric has some sort of unknown connection with the Baroness boat and Tina has come to visit a little girl named Emilie and her father, Frank. However, the town is full of monsters (SURPRISE!). To make matters worse, Bill is wounded and both Emilie and Jessie disappear. Now, Eric and Tina have to find their friends while trying discover what’s wrong with the city, and also find out Eric’s connection to The Little Baroness.
