Wesker wants a fight in new Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles Wii trailer!
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is the next big game in the Resident Evil saga and it’s coming exclusively to the Nintendo Wii, we’ve reported on Resident Evil co-op in the past. Unlike the core games in the Resident Evil series, Umbrella Chronicles is seen from a first-person perspective as an on-rails shooter and has you blasting zombies as one of several characters from throughout the series (the game also comes with the Wii Zapper).
Revealed characters include: Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen and Carlos Oliveira (blah!), from Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. I can only hope that both Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2 are also in the game but being held back as surprise characters . . . and let’s hope that even more (say Ada Wong or Barry Burton) also make an appearance and are playable!

I’m not joking when I say that the first time I watched this trailer it gave me chills! (Like with the DMC4 trailer.) Granted I am a huge Resident Evil fan, but this trailer, and the entire game in many ways, are truly filled with fan-service. It is so awesome to see all these characters appearing in one game (let’s hope they all actually meet!) and the ending of the trailer left me with goose bumps! The fact that so much focus is being put on Albert Wesker and the words he utters at the end of the trailer are enough to make this game a must-buy in my book. I can’t wait for November!
