So maybe the 100 million number was shipped not sold? For me I think the DS was doing an awesome job in bringing back Nintendo's SNES/N64 style games, but the combination of hype and Wii Virtual Console has helped them a lot. With all the blockbuster games coming up for all three consoles, I don't think we've heard the last of these console wars. It’s the news Nintendo fans have been waiting for ever since the SNES days. For me I think the DS was doing an awesome job in bringing back Nintendo’s SNES/N64 style games, but the combination of hype and Wii Virtual Console has helped them a lot.

With all the blockbuster games coming up for all three consoles, I don’t think we’ve heard the last of these console wars.
