Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core for PS2Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core has a Wii and PS2 release date of September 11th later this year (no European release yet).

Accent Core is not a new game, but rather an updated version of Guilty Gear XX, a game that has already received two revisions (one of which came Stateside as Guilty Gear XX #Reload) and this game will further enhance the chaotic fighter as well as introducing new elements and characters. As always, Sammy publishes and Arc System Works develops.

Game Features Include
:
* Two reinvented characters: A.B.A. (who first debuted in Guilty Gear Isuka) and Order-Sol (a version of Sol Badguy with an entirely different costume, moveset, stage, and theme music).
* Three new gameplay systems (Force Break, Slash Back and Throw Escape)
* All-new “Waggle Controls” on the Wii version of the game. GameCube controller, Classic Controller & Wii/Nunchuck also supported.

The game will of course feature new rebalancing of the characters, new moves have been added and existing specials (or powered-up specials) have been converted into Force Break Attacks. The Force Break is a new special move that drains 25% of the Tension Bar when used. The Slashback move is a new form of parrying that reduces stun from blocks and there are new moves that make opponents stick briefly to walls or slide across the floor.

All voices have been re-recorded including the announcer, the playable character artwork has been redone, two new music tracks have been added (Launch Out and “Keep the Flag Flying) and two characters that were deemed illegal in tournaments, Justice and Kliff, were removed from the roster, although they may be back in the US Wii and PS2 versions, which also fix some bugs from the Japanese version.
