Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground full songlist revealed, with new Foo Fighters song & Beastie Boys’ MCA playable!
Music has always been integral to Neversoft’s Tony Hawk series, which featured music that the skating culture could relate too, and yet music that would also be accessible to a wider audience, featuring a wide variety of genres, and the newest game, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground is no different.
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground has a release date of October 9th for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii and DS in the U.S.
Proving that the series still has a mighty draw, it was revealed that Beastie Boys founding member MCA (Adam Nathaniel Yauch) will be featured in the game as an unlockable, after which you can play as him.
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground will also feature a brand new Foo Fighters song, entitled “The Pretender”, off their upcoming album “Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace”, in addition to the 50-strong soundtrack, that includes artists like the Beastie Boys, Block Party, Jurassic 5, Smashing Pumpkins, The Clash, and Nirvana.
