Devil May Cry 4 new action-packed trailer

In Devil May Cry 4 you control the formidable Nero who comes to grips with his newly found power as his beliefs and allegiance are tested (Nero resembles both Dante and his twin brother Vergil). Continuing the legacy of fast paced action synonymous with the series, Devil May Cry 4 pushes the envelope of excellence even further with the inclusion of a new combat system that incorporates Nero’s “Devil Bringer.” This new feature has players delivering overwhelming damage to enemies with non-stop combos, while gaining new power for Nero’s right arm. With the next-gen system’s advanced graphical capabilities, high definition visuals and intricate detail come to life as players explore new and exotic locations.

Take a look at the new action-packed trailer below. Nero is part of Order of the Sword, a group of warriors who worship Sparda (watch the statue). Nero views Dante as a villain after witnessing Dante murdering members of the Order. Luckily for the fans of the series you’ll be able to play as one or the other in parts of the storyline. Other characters in the trailer are the new heroine brunette Kyrie, goatee Credo is the supreme general of the Holy Knights and Kyrie’s brother, you’ll recognize Gloria by her… uhm… strutting walk, and the monocle man is Agnus who is the chief researcher for the Magic Sword Cult.

Capcom recently announced that the PS3, Xbox 360 & PC game was delayed from this holiday season to a release date in March 2008. However that didn’t stop Capcom’s Production Studio 4 (the developers of Resident Evil 4 and the original Devil May Cry) from showing off the action game at the Leipzig Games Convention 2007.

Whoa, I´ve never seen someone dominate Dante like that. Nero whooped his ass.

Plus that was awsome, reloading the gun with one hand in mid fall of bullets? Whoa!

This game at least it will have great cutscenes. Just wish the story made a bit more sense. Also since this guy is Nero then he must play a crucial part in the story of the game (see Dante Alhigeri´s The Divine Comedy), is he like the new Raiden and will he get the same backlash as Raiden did in MGS2? Or have people learned their lessons tjo not judge a book by its cover.

Anyways… he gameplay is already known and we al know the graphics wil be great cause of next gen. Their has to be some kinda hook to enwrap the player into the story.
