Sony will show their upcoming action-adventure Folklore to attendees at this week’s Games Convention in Leipzig.

Early reports about the PS3 game Folklore – then called Monster Kingdom: Unknown Realms – mentioned the involvement of Shin Megami Tensei creator Kouji Okada. But it’s Game Republic’s Yoshiki Okamoto who is showing off the game this week.

So Kikizo asked if Mr. Okada was still playing a part. The answer: “Yes he is,” Sony’s Bill Ritch said at an event in London on Monday. “We’ve got a PSP version [of Folklore] and Kouji Okada is working on that.” Mr. Okada is only involved with the PSP edition of Folkore and wouldn’t confirm any link-up capabilities between the PS3 and PSP games.

Additionally PSPfanboy speculates that this PSP title will be set in the same universe but tell a different story. Expect more info in the upcoming weeks.
