Duke Nukem 3D HD port for Xbox Live Arcade in talks
Duke Nukem 3D developer 3D Realms’ George Broussard, has said the studio could develop an Xbox Live Arcade version of the 1996 FPS game if Microsoft is interested.
To quote: “Truth be told, we’ve talked to Microsoft about it and have some people that would port it. Just waiting on the good word from Microsoft to continue.”
It’d be nice to have a Duke Nukem 3D port with enhanced HD graphics and online multiplayer on Xbox 360, especially since…. wait for it… “it’s time to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I’m all out of gum!” The series has visited consoles before: PlayStation, Saturn, Nintendo 64, Game.com, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance have all had Duke Nukem games, mentions Shacknews.
