Guitar Hero III new songs list, 30 out of 70 soundtracks revealed!

Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock‘s lead developer Alan Flores (from Neversoft) for the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 & Wii music game has said in an interview that there will be “over 70 songs” on the final soundtrack for the game! Over half of them will be master recordings. So far 30 songs and their artists have been revealed for Guitar Hero III soundtrack by Activision.

Here’s the list including videos for each song:

1. “3′s and 7′s” by Queens of the Stone Age
2. “Barracuda” as made famous by Heart
3. “Cherub Rock” by Smashing Pumpkins
4. “Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll” as made famous by Blue Ã–yster Cult
5. “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour
6. “Even Flow” by Pearl Jam
7. “Knights of Cydonia” by Muse
8. “La Grange” as made famous by ZZ Top
9. “Lay Down” by Priestess
10. “The Metal” by Tenacious D
11. “Miss Murder” by AFI
12. “Mississippi Queen” as made famous by Mountain
13. “My Name Is Jonas” by Weezer
14. “The Number of the Beast” by Iron Maiden
15. “One” by Metallica
16. “Paint It, Black” by The Rolling Stones
17. “Paranoid” as made famous by Black Sabbath
18. “Raining Blood” by Slayer
19. “Reptilia” by The Strokes
20. “Rock and Roll All Nite” as made famous by Kiss
21. “Rock You Like a Hurricane” as made famous by Scorpions
22. “Sabotage” by Beastie Boys
23. “School’s Out” as made famous by Alice Cooper
24. “She Builds Quick Machines” by Velvet Revolver
25. “Slow Ride” as made famous by Foghat
26. “Suck My Kiss” by Red Hot Chili Peppers
27. “Through the Fire and Flames” by DragonForce
28. “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses
29. Another song by Velvet Revolver from Libertad
30. An original song composed and performed by Slash of Velvet Revolver

AC/DC and Led Zeppelin are also in discussion.

I’ve seen some of the dumbest bands here, one armed scissor by At the drive in, and Take the vail serpent taxt by Mars Volta. Omar would kill any of yall as a guitar hero, me too.

need more metal, and no radio rock like zeppelin and ac/dc both are overated and very simple to play, and i for one want something fun to play on guitar hero not boring and repetetive, any slayer song would own zeppelin, which has never had a descent song, and ac/dc is just a joke, i would rather have the fathers of metal (sabbath) on it again than zep and ac/dc and they need more inflames, older releases, and maiden.

ZOMG more hardcore metal with ppl screaming and slamming random notes on the guitar plz!! its called legends of rock… not legends of metal.. they should put some songs on here by actually legends of rock and not this new crap

to bad metal is not slamming random notes, it’s actual talent in guitar, something ac/dc and zeppelin never had, let alone most of the rock scene… and until you actually know music, never mix hardcore and metal in the same genre because you make yourself look like a fool when you do
