Guitar Hero III new songs list, 30 out of 70 soundtracks revealed!

Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock‘s lead developer Alan Flores (from Neversoft) for the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 & Wii music game has said in an interview that there will be “over 70 songs” on the final soundtrack for the game! Over half of them will be master recordings. So far 30 songs and their artists have been revealed for Guitar Hero III soundtrack by Activision.

Here’s the list including videos for each song:

1. “3′s and 7′s” by Queens of the Stone Age
2. “Barracuda” as made famous by Heart
3. “Cherub Rock” by Smashing Pumpkins
4. “Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll” as made famous by Blue Ã–yster Cult
5. “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour
6. “Even Flow” by Pearl Jam
7. “Knights of Cydonia” by Muse
8. “La Grange” as made famous by ZZ Top
9. “Lay Down” by Priestess
10. “The Metal” by Tenacious D
11. “Miss Murder” by AFI
12. “Mississippi Queen” as made famous by Mountain
13. “My Name Is Jonas” by Weezer
14. “The Number of the Beast” by Iron Maiden
15. “One” by Metallica
16. “Paint It, Black” by The Rolling Stones
17. “Paranoid” as made famous by Black Sabbath
18. “Raining Blood” by Slayer
19. “Reptilia” by The Strokes
20. “Rock and Roll All Nite” as made famous by Kiss
21. “Rock You Like a Hurricane” as made famous by Scorpions
22. “Sabotage” by Beastie Boys
23. “School’s Out” as made famous by Alice Cooper
24. “She Builds Quick Machines” by Velvet Revolver
25. “Slow Ride” as made famous by Foghat
26. “Suck My Kiss” by Red Hot Chili Peppers
27. “Through the Fire and Flames” by DragonForce

AC/DC and Led Zeppelin are also in discussion.

Holy Crap! I was gonna buy this just because KISS & Alice Cooper were on this one. But now that Maiden & F’n SLAYER are on board, I’m gonna pre-order & be waiting outside the store where I’m planning to buy it just to make sure I get it. Metallica’s One, good choice, they got a song from the pre sold out Metallica era. Also, my favorite Sabbath song Paranoid is here YES!!! Need a Priest song here people!! Love to see Painkiller on this one. Megadeth: How about Peace Sells or In My Darkest Hour. Hopefully they can get Zepplin & AC/DC on board. Let’s not forget Hendrix. And since this is called Guitar Hero, why not get some REAL Heros on here. I’m not knocking Slash, but I just feel that we should have some true guitar heros on here like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Pete Townsend, Hell, even Randy Rhodes should be here. Well, it could be worse, they could have put that overrated punk Eddie Van Halen in there, so I guess I’m happy about that.

So far I must agree dont put AFI, Green Day or any other type of shyt like that on Pt. 3. Come on now its Guitar Hero. We must rock out like true ROCKER’s. I like that all #35 has said but dont forget about Megadeath, CREAM, or music like Breaking Benjamin, Deftones, Mudvanye, Nine Inch Nails, Staind, and System of A Down. But I dont kno Guitar Hero players just keep debating on what song ya’ll want and maybe (Alan Flores or Activision) just might post’em into the game. I’ll be one of the 1st to buy it too. But I can wait 4 the Xbox 360 guitar (Gibson Les Paul thats what I’ve heard)
